The Space Prize Challenge

Empowering the next generation of space leaders through immersive STEM education.

In our flagship global challenge, the Space Prize Foundation selects a cohort of high school women and gender minorities to participate in an intensive aerospace residency. In partnership with Starlight Education, this program brings together the brightest young minds for a multi-day immersive experience designed to bridge the gender gap in the space industry.

Over the course of the challenge, students engage directly with astronauts, scientists, and award-winning educators to master advanced STEM concepts. Working in collaborative teams, participants apply their knowledge to design and build a viable CubeSat, gaining the technical skills and mentorship required to lead the future of the space economy.
